Move transitions combinations

There is a huge diffrence.
ok i said i wasnt going to drop anything on this section anymore but thre is a misconception i have to bring to light and maybe people can stay on trac with bbboy venacular

Ive seen quite a few post with people staking claims form moves or creating something or pioneering something and its all so confusing since the venacular of this dance is being lost to a generation who might not care so much about it and only care about doing moves. aint nothing wrong with that, so i deirect this post to those who might want to learn the diffrences.

COMBINATIONS (combos)
a combination, or combos as it came to be called in the mid 80’s is actualy a series of moves put together to make a set or a run, forinstance flare to swipe to 1990 is a combination or combo. especialy in what people call powermoves, combos are done all over the world. it is impossible to be somehwere in the bronx or cali and say you created a combo without seeing every person on the planet. great minds think alike and sometimes so do bboys. since a combo is a series of moves that have already been created, one is only putting them together, it is NOT safe to include a combo in a list of things one has alegedly created. for instance ive heard one legend say “and i created flare to swipe” no you took 2 moves that was already created and put them together, without knowing that someone did it first.
one of the first combination kings was powerful pexter from the nyc breakers, pex style and attitude was “i can do anything and everything and i can put anything and everything together in one round in a blink of an eye.
another great combo king was/is float from incredible breakers, his runs would last for days and just when you thought he was finihsed, he would (stylishly) come out of his freeze and keep going into other combos..

TRANSITIONS
transitions could be described in so many ways but ill use the simplest form (its a wack metafore butits the easiest way for me to explain) if i am waliing down the street, and from walking i take a short hop then begin to run, the hop was the transition (i told you it was a wack metaphore)
a transition can be super simple and almost invisible (flare 1990) or it can be super complex. i wish i had better ways of explaining this but transitions are usualy fast and to the point, or super unique to the individual doing them. trasitions are what sometimes makes a dancer visualy apealing and can be classified as what alot of people call “tricks” great transition bboys include
crazy legs
mr wiggles
ken swift
jerome ski
kmel
katsu
lilou
meno
xisco
theisis
kid david
rox rite
(crazy legs and lilou are my favorite caracters in the bboy games because of the transitions used in the game, not so much the moves. im a sucker for ill transitions)

MOVES
moves are just that, a single move. sometimes moves are based off transitions but create a move, for instance the continuous back spin and the early windmills with hands, the actual motion of getting back on your hands to re-start the proccess in a windmill was a transition. now a days since windmills and air moves in general have gone so advance that alot of the transitions was lost in a good way, forinstance no hand windmills.
again a move is a singular move that is used in a combo and in some cases as or during a transition
flare
airflare
windmills
1990s
swipes
head spins
these are moves and to be called a move it has to stand out alone.

hope that helps and clrears up stuff and again this post is for those who want it not a way to enforce.

since im on here i want to clear up anothr wrongly used term

pioneering over inovating

when someone pioneers something they are the first, the person who takes it to the next level inovated the move
